Metallic foil you can see and feel

Raised foil cards add real shine to your logo or name. A metallic foil is applied on top of the card in a raised layer, so it catches the light and stands up from the surface when you run a finger across it. Underneath, the card has a soft-velvet laminate on both sides, giving a rich, smooth feel that makes the foil stand out even more.

Choosing a foil color

  • Gold: warm and classic, ideal on black, navy, deep green or burgundy cards.
  • Silver: clean and modern, pairs well with black, gray and blue.
  • Holographic: a rainbow effect that shifts in the light, great for creative, beauty and nightlife brands.

Where to use foil

Foil works best on bold elements such as a logo, a name, a border or a short line of text. Keep foiled details reasonably large; very fine lines and tiny type are hard to reproduce in raised foil. Dark card backgrounds give foil the strongest contrast.

How to order

  • Choose your options and add the cards to your cart.
  • Upload your print-ready artwork for the front and back when you order. Include a note describing which parts of the design should be foiled. We handle design and layout; business logos are supplied by you.
  • For most products we email a digital mockup for approval before printing.
  • Pick up at 1550 S Sunkist St, Suite H, Anaheim, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, or have them shipped free within the 48 contiguous states.
